Increasing the click-through rate on video and image boxes will increase its ranking in the search engine results pages (SERP)s, and will increase your EAT (Expertise, Authority and Trust) signals.
Look at those elements provided in search that drive the clickthrough rate:
- Is there a clear call to action?
- Can you improve that through better labeling of those assets?
- Can you make your authority more clear by ensuring relevant links to your YouTube channel?
